Pain in right breast

I have pain in my right breast, on the side near my armpit, what could this mean>?

I’m not a doctor but I’ve had Cancer twice. I had Hodgkins Disease, Cancer of the Lymph nodes (I believe that’s the right wording) and to my knowledge, Cancer doesn’t usually hurt, as far as lumps go. Maybe if the Cancer has progressed to a large size, there may be pain because of a lump or mass putting pressure on other organs, etc.

Anything that anyone on here says (even a doctor) is speculation. You need to be seen by a doctor and probably have tests done and the sooner, the better. That is the key to a cure in many cases. Also, it may be nothing serious at all.

Do research on the Internet if you think it will help, but, I know in my case, I begin to panic easily. So, just be careful when you’re reading about it. It’s easy to get symptoms that can be the symptoms of anxiety.

The best of luck to you and make that appointment.

I’m not trying to scare you but it could be a sign of a lump,or breast cancer. Go here to see how you can check yourself. http://familydoctor.org/online/famdocen/home/women/reproductive/breast/018.html Other things it can or may be:

-Sore lymph node -Sore from using that side of the body causing breast to ache -Sore because you’re about to get your period
