How can I find out how long my cycle is?

I’m trying to get pregnant and I keep calculating my ovulation calendar and it asks how many days my cycle is. How am I supposed to know? The normal one is 28 days, but im not sure if thats what I am. Can someone please explain this to me.

your most fertile day is 14 days after the first day of your last period. Are you in a stable relationship and really ready to have a baby??? You are very young, can you financially support this baby when it comes along???

her question was about her cycle, she wasn’t asking for anyones opinions on if she’s old enough to have a baby or not. it’s not for anyone to say except for her if she’s ready. I’m pregnant and 17 yeah I understand it’s young but I have someone who will be there for me. we graduated early and are currently working. it wasn’t anything planned but I’m not upset about it. and the one thing that pisses me off the most is when someone tells me I’m not ready for a kid when they know NOTHING about me. make sure you don’t make me sound like a dumbass and take very good care of your baby hun. good luck.

Just count from your 1st period to your next. . .Also I cant believe how many women on here are quick to judge your age when it comes to having babies!! At the end of the day if you feel ready to have a baby then why not? I’m 18years old at the moment and currently 8months pregnant! (unplanned) I have my boyfriend by my side but Even if your not in a stable relationship or a single parent it doesn’t matter! my mum brought up 3 children by herself, who needs men? The legal age to have sex is 16 so if that’s the law then I believe even if your 16 years old and fall pregnant purposely or accidentally it doesn’t matter, people are quick to judge 16 year olds. BUT the law says 16 is the legal age to have sex so why cant you be 16 and pregnant?? I hope everything goes well for you! Don’t listen to others! Good luck!

The length of your cycle is calculated from the first day that your period started one month (exp. 11/14 would be day one) .. to the day it starts in the next cycle (exp.12/11) .. this would mean that you had a 28 day cycle. All women are different and dont have the same cycles so to know how to calculate yours .. all you have to do is count from the first day of your period to the first day of your next period!!

Usually, you calculate your ovulation calendar to avoid getting pregnant. Getting pregnant is a little less complicated - just have unprotected sex and nine times out of ten you’ll end up conceiving.

But again, you shouldn’t be having a baby when you’re eighteen. I know you’re not going to listen because you think you’re ready, but you really shouldn’t believe everything you think.

You can calculate your cycle by counting how many days you have between the start of one period and the start of another. If you find you have a regular cycle, you will know when you ovulate every month by counting back 14 days from the expected start date of your next period. If you and your partner want to try to get pregnant, you should have sex every other day starting 4-5 days before your ovulation date, and continuing til about a day after. If you and your partner have normal fertility, you will have a 25% chance of getting pregnant each month using this method.

Your profile says your 18..

Are you ready to have a baby? Can you support yourself and a baby? Why try to get pregnant if you are 18 years old?

Answer #14

If you realy want a baby. go see a doc. they will tell you what days you can get pregnant. Its usually a fey days out of the mounth, and they can tell you when those few days would be.
