What is your opinion on holding down two jobs?

Cause I’m going to have to get one here soon, need more money than minimum wage to pay for college man

Answer #1

Not a good idea in a way as u wud never have time for urself, money wise it wud be wise though

Answer #2

Reason why I need two, I’d have basically no free time but I plan to dedicate one day to myself to rest up, have a bit of social time, then the other six to do whatever. :P

Answer #3

It’s good if you can handle it. If you can juggle school work, study time and two jobs, then it’s great if you’re also fine with less free time. It would be a financially good thing for students who have large amounts of loans to pay out, like me, but I would not be able to handle it.

Answer #4

I have the same problem, I have a full time job, part time job, I go to school and I’m a parent, so I know wat u mean about not havein any extra money, I wud only suggest to get a part time job if u have a full time job now

Answer #5

pft, aint no way I could do college and do two jobs, that’d be impossible. xD If anyone has then good job to them haha.

Answer #6

Depends on the job. You can be a teacher and a designer, etc. What you need to do more on here in TIME MANAGEMENT. Human is a creature grown on adaptation and habits. You will find it difficult in the fries few weeks but then you will be the master of your live. Good Luck!

Answer #7

True that, good for you! :) I’ve only got a part time job right now, work roughly 30-35 hours a week. If I can get another part time job then I’ll HOPEFULLY be making around 60hours a week or more, that’s exactly what i need.

Answer #8

Thx, yeah 2 pt time jobs shud work if u go to school, but believe me it won’t be easy, but well worth it in the long run

Answer #9

I had four jobs at once about 5 months ago and it was fine. One full time, and 3 part time. I was obviously busy, but I’m a hard worker anyway so it didn’t really bother me. I didn’t have much time for a social life though. I guess if you need the money, it’s just something you have to do. You’ll have to make sure that the workload isn’t too much though because what’s the point in having two (or more) jobs if you aren’t going to be able to function properly and do your jobs well. Best of luck.

Answer #10

Hey you it’s been awhile! College already?! Wow!! *as already mentioned, two jobs isn’t as bad as long has you can manage your time and as long as you enjoy your jobs! I reccomend you get your jobs NOW and save up until school starts! Once school starts and you find it too heavy to juggle both jobs and school, then you should reconsider wich job you wanna keep! I worked as a lifeguard/swim instructor and got a job on the side at victoria’s secret last summer. The saved up money I made was good for the books I needed to buy for my semesters this year!

I stopped working at victoria secret cause the hours were crazy! But kept on being a lifeguard/swim instructor cause

  1. Better pay
  2. Flexibale hours
  3. great staff
  4. And I get to work with kids, which benifits what I want to do in the future!
Answer #11

yeah! I miss you :) It’s been awhile for sure. :) We should keep in contact more! ^^ But yeah, for sure :o
