What is your opinion on some high school dropouts?

Answer #1

That’s a difficult question to answer. It depends on about a 1000 different factors. My father left high school in order to support his family. He turned out quite successful. There are people with disabilities who are simply not able to finish school. People in poor and underprivileged areas where school is not valued. And then there’s teens who get pregnant and live in a fantasy world where $5 an hour is somehow going to support 3 people. It depends.

Answer #2

It depends on the reasoning for their dropping out and what they did after they dropped out. School and classrooms isn’t for everyone and i know several people who dropped out of highschool and got their g.e.d’s and were successful in life and accomplished alot. I dont think kids should drop out with no plan and just sit around at home all day doing nothing.. but in the end it’s their life their ruining and letting pass by so what can i say.

Answer #3

I feel it’s a shame and I hope they got their G.E.D and are making a decent living for themselves.

Answer #4

I think it all depends, some make it some dont.

Answer #5

I dropped out of high school and still managed to support my family and now have my dream job. I think it depends on the person. I have friends that went to university and all the have to show for it is huge student loans to pay back and a crap job in an entirely different field than they wanted.

Answer #6

HighSchool dropping out most of the time results in more problems than when they actually were in school. My opinion on hs dropouts is that even though they might think they need to dropout they need to try and keep on going as long as they can.But if they dropout after trying then trying effort counts.I think they should get their GED & go to college as well.Alot do & Alot don’t . So it’s like you put in a hella’of alot of effort into it to make it or you put it nothing and become nothing, thats how I see it.I feel education is very important key to success in life.

Answer #7

It’s their decision. People drop out for various reason, some being actually a reasonable excuse for dropping out, and some just because they hate school.. But I don’t look down on people who drop out, because that’s totally up to them.
