omg I am sooo scared im going into high school this year to be a freshman...im like petrified about the bus and cfiteria situation...and the worst part is only like 3 out of 14 of my friends are going to the same school as me so I dont know if they will be in the same period as lunch with me...but the bus part is the scariest I think...advice???
Ah yes. yes I remember my fear of going into high school. but it not bad. it a great place. I didnt ride the bus. so I dont know about that I alway walk. but in high school. there so much stuff you can do. ton of after school things. NJROTC was my favorite. the lunch is a bit different from middle. in high school lunch. ( well mine). you walk in. and you just go line up and get your food. you will make more friends ^_^. just act normal. you should be fine. hope I help
Just observe at first. I've moved around a lot, and the easiest way to make friends is to seem approachable. If you are going to a small-ish school, people will be curious about you.
Don't worry about the bus. I thought it was nicer on the high school bus - not as loud. Most people (unlike in middle school) just sat there. Have an ipod or something!! It'll destress you, and let you just look out the window as you get there before you make new friends.
I remember going in as a Freshman. God, the biggest fear was my new courses. I'm not really a genius, and thought that I had to be. You don't need to be scared, just act normal. I came into high school with no friends and ended my first year with 5 friends. They were all in my Japanese class though.
It'll be nice to see how this year goes since I'm a Junior now.
