my mom doesn't like him

Okay, I’m dateing this guy named Kevin and my mom doesn’t like him. My mom said that she is going to block his number from my cell phone… If she does this I will hate her even more than I already do.. I know that sound messed up, but I can’t stand my mom. I was raped in August of 2008 and it seems like she doesn’t even care. I mean she acts like she hates the guy that raped me, but in April after he raped me she talked to him on the phone for 3 hours, but she denys it… We have proof on the phone bill.. Also I’ve been wanting to run away for a long time. Kevin said I could go live with him and Kevins friend Omar said that he would pick me up but I don’t no if I should run away or is there something else I could do??? Ohh and by the way just because shes blocking Kevins number from my phone is only 1 of the millon of reasons I don’t want to live with her… PLZZZ help me!!!

You left out a few important details. Why doesn’t she like him? Who raped you, was it a friend or your mom’s or was it family? Most of all, you left out why she hates your boyfriend. I can think of a number of legit reasons to hate a man.

my momsz ex husband raped me.. She hates him because hes p.r. and shes white… I’m p.r. ndd white but I get the p.r. from my dad and the last time I saw him was when I was a baby…

This is very hard to judge because of the situation present. I honestly think that if you know how your family works, and what you will and will not get in trouble for, then do what you see fit necessary. I am not encouraging you to run away, but for some families this might be the better solution depending on your living arrangments. But as for actually doing it, running away with this guy could hurt you, and your relationship as well. Maybe your mother doesn’t want you to date this guy Kevin because of your rape? I’m not exactly sure, but whatever it is you are looking for, I hope you find it.
