Nosebleeds constantly..

Have you tried using a saline nasal spray (Ocean or store brand is fine) whenever you have a cold? Spray each nostril with 1-2 squirts then blow GENTLY after about 5 minutes. Do this several times a day or as often as needed as it can be used without limits. It helps to clear the sinus cavities of fluid and helps with breathing. If you do this for several days notice if the bleeding stops and if signs of ear infections decrease. Keeping the sinuses clear of infectious drainage and empty helps prevent back up of fluids into the ear and eustachian tubes.

If this doesn’t help, then you should get a referral to an EENT (eye, ear, nose, and throat specialist) for evaluation of your ears. Could be your eustachian tubes never tilted enough and this is why you continously get ear infections. When babies are born the eustachian tubes in the ear are more like — and as a result more ear infections occur because fluid pools in the tubes and becomes infected. As we get older the tubes tilt like this / (although not so steeply) and this keeps the tubes free of fluid and thus, less infections.

Only your EENT can tell you exactly what is wrong, so check with them if this continues.
