Is it normal that I have this pain in my chest?

Its not like when you breath it hurts your whole chest its just this one spot on my chest & it cramps and at points I cant even move because it hurts that much … My dad says its “gas” but its been going on for a week already.. even in school in class we were watching a movie my teacher sees me with my hand on my chest I tell her my chest hurts and she ask me if I’m ok .. I couldn’t move for like a minute but I told her I was fine… my dad also says that the pain has nothing to do with my heart because .. I would of been dead already if the pain has been going on for a week? :-/

I often get sharp pains in my chest and pains shooting up my neck from my chest. My mum said it wouldn’t be my heart and if I went to a doctor they’d say it was growing pains which is what they call my frequent leg pain and migraines. I have no idea what’s wrong with either of us but I hope your doctor can figure out why you’re getting those cramps. Good luck. :)

Answer #11

well the pain has been going on for a week….so it could be the symptom of an artery getting blocked causing pain{WE CALL IT ANGINA IN MEDICAL TERMS}..even if its not angina,as u said its been a week,i would suggest u to see a doctor….prefarably a cardiologist just to make sure nothing is wrong….
