Is it normal to have VERY itchy legs while pregnant?

Im 36 weeks pregnant and my lower legs (between my knee and foot) are so itchy that Ive made my self bleed. Theres bumps all over them, theres also little white spots. The walkin clinic doctor was clueless to what this is, ive herd its normal in pregnancy, but this is insane!

It sounds like PUPS which is something that occurs during some womens pregnancies. Im not sure as to why the doctor didnt think it was since it fits the symptoms to a tee. Look up information on it (i read about it in “what to expect when your expecting”. The only other things i can think of that would cause the itching are ezcema (which pregnancy has a tendancy to make worse) or stretchmarks (but you would see them). The white bumps though is usally a sign of PUPS during pregnancy.

P.S - Using a non-scented lotion such as lubriderm can help with the itching…fragrences in soaps and lotions will irritate it more. Also, congratulations! Im currently 38 weeks pregnant myself.

Yes, it is quite natural to have itchy legs and dryness. Just using a soothing and moisturising lotion would help. Also eating the right food would help… I had itchy legs and back and tummy as well when I had my second baby…
