So, it’s called the Electra complex for girls, and the Oedipus complex for boys.]

It is naturally occuring during childhood, it is even considered normal for the child to be attracted to their parent of opposed sex, and to be jealous of the parent of the same sex. The complex can still affect someone during adolecence and much rarely during maturity. It does become a problem if it affects one life during maturity, but during childhood and even early years of adolescence it is perfectly normal.

If it’s only a purely hypothetical fantasy, but the person would not do it if they had the chance, then everything’s OK. The thought may be pervert, but everyone has got the right to carry pervert thoughts in their head.

I mean, it is actually all right fantasize about everything, even about things that would be considered criminal by anyone. As long as the person is sure that it remains inside the gray blob between their ears and never gets to the outside in any way.

If the fantasies affect everyday life of the person in any way, if they become obsessed with it, they need therapy. If the person really considers seducing one of their close relatives, then a therapy might be very urgent.

The main question is, whether the person knows the border between reality and fantasy.
