I recently had my cheeks(dimples) pierced about 3 days ago. The back of my stud (looks like a big libret stud) is cutting into my cheek and indenting. I can pop it out, theres no skin growing over it but its slowing digging in a litttttttle more each day and there is a little hole where the back of the stud is pushing into my cheek. it's not extremely painful but I'm concerned. I went to my piercer when it started happening and he said since I still had room for swelling on these barbells that I was fine and a little bit of cutting into my skin is normal.
Is it? Sholud I be concerned and get a second opinion from another piercer?
nah it's normal. it happens to me whenever I wear studs. maybe yours isn't long enough though.
