IT ONLY HURTS WHILE THE NEEDLE IS GOING THROUGH. I HAVE MINE DONE AND AS SOON AS THE JEWELRY WAS IN IT QUIT HURTING. I LOVE THEM NOW. I’ve HAD THEM ALMOST 4 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD THEM INFECTED OR SWELLED. IF YOU REALLY WANT THEM THEN IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT. I SAY GO FOR IT!!

It’s actually not that bad of a piercing - I had mine done the same day and it didn’t hurt as much I thought it would.

If you want them - the small amount of pain is worth it.

It depends on how expert the piercer is. If he/she takes their time slowly pushing the needle through, it will probably hurt more. Not to mention, if he or she messes up and attempts to remedy it, that could be worse. I’ve had mine done but I guess that doesn’t matter because I’ve got tiny little man nipples. However, when my girlfriend had hers done, the piercer messed up on the second one, it was crooked. He took the needle out and shoved it through again before she could even say anything, and it was a little better but still crooked. THAT hurt, I could tell. Just make sure you go to someone with a decent portfolio and a good reputation.
