Hey- looking for a 70's song that goes a little something like:
these eyes cry every night for you these eyes are longing to hold you again- these eyes are crying these eyes have seen a lot of love but they're never gonna see another love like I had with you- ohh these eyes are crying
not sure what the title is, but I do believe it's neil young or diamond??? if you have any hints, let me know... thanks :)
Rebekah -- The song is "These Eyes", written by Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings. It was recorded by Canada's Guess Who. Randy Bachman went on to front the Bachman-Turner Overdirve, whose biggest hit was "Taking Care of Business" - Bob
Well, I don't recognize the song, but from the 70's I would say it's either Neil Diamond, Neil Young, or Neil Sedaka. They are all famous Neal's. But if I had to guess it would be Neil Diamond. I hope someone else may be able to help you further.
Parenthetically - Neil Young and Burton Cummings were drinking buddies in Canada. Burton stayed there and became a Canadian icon - Neil went to LA and joined Buffalo Springfield.
Wow, you learn something new everyday. Just remember sometimes more than one person will record a song. So it might be a different version you are thinking of.
Dear rbeckah, The song is called These Eyes by the Canadian band "The Guess Who" it was written by Randy Bauchman. Sue
