I think if you have agood voice dont give it dead.Record some songs and give to listen your parents or your friends(because I think that it can be only you like your voice),maybe they also will think that you can great singer. And why to shy?If you have voice give all to know about that! GOOOD LUCK!

Answer #2

make a true life and record online so people can hear your talent. after everyone confirms you are good you can gain some confidence to perform in public someday. :D

Answer #3

you should just sing, I went to a party(and I suck at singing 0 I did kareoky and there wasnt even music, but I was the first one and everyone started doing it after that and we all had a good time, basically the point is just do it

Answer #4

you have to get comfortable with yourself, theres no true tricks or gimmicks, dont waste you talent by hiding :)

Answer #5

As long as you have a good voice, you have nothing to worry about. Just sing! If your nervous about singing in front of people, just start out small. Have a good friend come over and you guys can do some karaoke or something. Then once your comfortable, move up to a few more people. As for “big” crowds… act like they’re not even there. Just act like the only people there are your friends and people you feel comfortable with. Before you know it, it’ll all be over and you’ll only be able to hear the roaring of the happy crowd.

first before you sing humm and do that to the tune of your fav. song! your throat feels clearer and better, now sing really really quiet, then a bit louder and louder and louder in till you are really singing! sing while you are doing homework, packing up something while walking/running then start with small crowds and larger and larger! whalla! you are over your fear!

I am most certain I am shy I was horrified but I saw this girl who didn’t care what people thought and everyone that she was the only one who can sing but at the talent show I sung my heart out and I forgot anyone was there I promissse you’ll 4get anyone is there I garantee it good luck and have fun…and if you get scared close your eyes.

Answer #8

I’m going through the same problem. I used to sing in church in my early teens and was shy, but I still did it. I strayed and now that I’m back serving God and I’m on the praise team I am under pressure to start singing solo parts. I love how I sing in the shower… I am very confident, but when it gets to practising in front of people I freeze. Once the service starts it shuts off and I am not shy anymore, but then again, I don’t lead the song either. I need to find an answer to this question also.

Answer #9

im abit like you qite shy and have a hard time sometimes when people want me to sing in front of them but that was a little while ago,the best thing to do is first sing maybe just in front of your best frien and if she thinks your good then sing to all your friends after that invite other people over and o a bit of kareoke, then maybe youll get to feel more confident then you will have the confidence to sing as loud as you want in front of people an just preten that noone is there but you I know its a little har beleive me I know but I’ve been through all this and its nothing o be embaressed bout eighther I mean it just makes you a lot more human.

let your friends hear you listen to me if your friends judge you then they are not your friends at all thats what I say any way if any think thay should support you not juge you. GOOD LUCK!
