She just sees me as a bestfriend

Ok so I’m bestfriends with this girl and I really like her, but she just sees me as a bestfriend. At times it seems like she does like me, and other people say the same thing but whenever we talk about who she likes I’m never a choice, I’m just the bestfriend. I’m wondering, what are some ways that I can try to get her to like me. I’m not saying I want to force her to like me, I just want to try to do some things to help change it from her seeing me as only a bestfriend to her seeing me as more.

I have been trying that a lot. this has been going on for over a year now. I tell her how amazing she is and how any guy would be lucky to have her as a girlfriend and how special she is to me (I haven’t come out and said that I liked her though). and she does flirt with me, any time she sees me, she smiles and if she sees me walking in front of her she’ll come up and start bumping into me with her butt and sometimes she’ll just keep doing that. and there’s more.

find out what she likes in a guy and see if it fits you if now look for some one else

Well imhopeless24, since I basically have been in your situation, I would say it all depends. If she flirts withb you a lot, like smile and giggle at you out of the random moments then he probably does like you more than a friend. But since in this case you guys are best friends, sometimes feeling getting together bcan ruin a friendship. I would encourage you to give it a little more time, since she actually might just see you as a best friend. And the fact that you wants her to like you, give her compliments and give her small hints that you can interested in her.
