SO IM NOT ENTIRELY SURE IF SHE IS PREGNANT OR NOT BUT SHES IN THE “HEAT” STAGE FOR A FEW DAYS NOW AND MY MIN PIN WONT STOP MOUNTING HER…IM THINKING BY NOW SHE MAY BE PREGNANT BUT ITS TO SOON TO KNOW.. HOW WILL I BE ABLE TO TELL IF SHE IS OR NOT?AND IF SHE IS HOW DO I HELP HER WITH HER PREGNANCY? I DONT WANT HER TO LOOSE ANY OF THE PUPPIES (IF SHE HAS THEM) AND I WANT THIS TO WORK OUT THE BEST IT CAN! ANY ADVICE?

yep, I agree,,I just had my pug bred a few days ago and I am hoping she “took” Being she is a smaller breed dog, you most likely wont be able to really tell(unless you go to a vet) until she is a few weeks along. A dogs pregnancy averages 53-64 days. Prepare for it by getting a childs small plastic pool(thats what I did ) and now is the best time to get them when they are cheap and on sale LOL when she is ready to have her puppies she will be searching for a place to go hide and have them…she will “nest” around, make sure that when she starts to do this that you dont let her out of your site when you let her outside…she may go hide somewhere to have the pups, If this is her 1st liter it is best to try to be there in case there are problems…you never know what kind of mother they will be and if they will accept all the pups..I plan to have a pet bottle a milk on hand just in case she rejects any of the pups and I have to hand feed them. One other thing, most lites dont all always survive…especially the 1st time…commomnas a fact that 20% of most liters will die, but not nessasarily. Good luck and enjoy! I cant wait to find out if my Winn-Dixie is preg. :)

You said yesterday, that the Min Pin and her were getting stuck (first lesson in the vocabulary of “breeding”…when they get stuck, it’s called “tieing”. Since they have “tied”…you most likely DO have puppies coming…

Put “Welping Puppies” into Google, and study up…there’s way to much to know than room to wirte it all here.
