whats a good series of book something like The Sword of truth series
I remember that series. I had to bail out after the fourth book. There was only so much of two things I could take: 1) No matter how powerful Richard got, there was always this "But I'm just a simple woods guide" nonsense underneath everything. 2) How many horrible countries of darkness and evil can there possibly be in this place? Seemed like every book, they discovered a new one.
I know it's a little old school, but have you gone the Dragonlance route yet (Chronicles only)? Might also want to check out Wheel of Time.
Sorry, don't know about The Sword of Truth. But, if you like stories about vampires, witches, and a little romance then, you might want to try the Anne Rice series. Its about 13 books (approx) and a lot of them tie in together to tell one great big story, and some are completely away from that story line altogether. I didn't think I would like them and now I'm into my 4th reading of the series in 2 years!! Start with the Vampire Chronicles and I think you might enjoy them. [•:
Lord of the Rings. Forgotten Realms. Dragon Lance. All the Warcraft books(they're actually quite good, and nothing like the games).
If you like adventure sci-fi, I'de look into the Starcraft books(again, nothing like the game), the Star Wars New Jedi Order Series, Halo, stuff like that.
I've read all the Inheritance series great books Loved them waiting on the 4th its killing me
