Hi, ok so I find this odd. My name is Lauren... I changed my password last week cause someone hacked into my profile and deleted everything except what was in my about me section. Then I went to log back in and the password I had changed it to didn't work. So I figured I misspelled it so I did like 18 different versions of what I changed it to. That didn't work, so I went to the forgot your password link and I entered my e-mail (I did this like 20 times between 2 days) I never got the e-mail. So I went to the FAQ page on Myspace it said to send a salute (which is a picture of yourself holding a sign with myspace.com/ And your friend ID). So I did and I still haven't gotten an e-mail back from myspace.
Any Help ???

First, clear out your browser's cookies and temporary internet files..usually in the tools menu of your browser.
Also that's really very weird that myspace would make you send a photo to them in order to give you your password. Sounds scammy. I would just email their support team:

I need my password I have tried between 13-15 times & still have not got a password & I was gone for a week one time during the span & still did not get it at all & I have emailed myspace customer service saying something about sending a salute
I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY BECAUSE IT IS DOING THE SAME CRAP TO ME I AM REALLY MAD BECAUSE I NEED TO GO AND IT WONT LET ME......... :(
you should wait about a week and re-type your e-mail address and you'll be sure to have your password back in your hands.
