How to get on Myspace on a school computer?

well what I did was go to the internet and type in the website www.w8.orgoro.com..you will come to a chinese website and scroll down till you see a website typed in and erase it..after you do that type in www.myspace.com and search it…it works try it just be sure to erase your history afterwords

I’m a system / network engineer for a public school system.

Depending on the types of networking equipment and / or software that they have in place your every mouse click and key stroke could be recorded. plus erasing your history only works at the local level and not on the network device level that has already recorded that PC / IP address / MAC address / User ID from accessing non - educational material.

Usually though its the teachers responsibility to initiate any disciplinary action except where the student violates the law.

Beware. We have students that are no longer able to use computers in our system. We also have some that are not allowed to use them without over the shoulder super vision.

Please take the acceptable use policy seriously. Computer use in your school is not a right it is a privilege.

Your school may have done one of many many different things to the computer for its system - each school has their own ideas about what to do and what not to do. To be honest, the easiest and simplest way to deal with things is to wipe it, and start again the way you want, but that means having the appropriate install disks. What sort of computer is it, I.e brand, and do you know how fast it is ? e.g. CPU and Ram, hard drive size etc?

Easiest way - Don’t. They can trace if you’ve used a web-blocker/proxy and depending on your school’s policy, you could loose internet access altogether, possibly face detention also.

[ Peacefire.org ] is a constanly updating proxy site that can hide anything that the censership program uses

the only con is if your school already blocked the specific site’s proxy’s then you can’t access them. (crystalcone.com) is one from them, you can sign up for their newsletter in which they create a new proxy each week in the winter and less when schools out of course.
