My untrainable dog

My mom & dad wants to give my 10 mouth old puppy away because I can not train her

‘it’s me or the dog’ is a good programme to use, but make sure you have the patience to train her. Shouting at your dog won’t help, use a firm voice, which is calm, but if you dog does something good, praise with petting or treats. Repeat a few times, and it should work. Also, if you dog is doing something naughty, turn your back away, the dog will learn your not pleased, and will stop, as they want your affection, especially sice she’s a puppy. When she calms down (I assume she may be jumping round and hyper) then turn back to her once she’s calmed down. Hope I’ve helped. (these are some of the tricks used on the show

Phrannie is right, some dogs take a little longer but they are all trainable. Start watching “Its me or the dog” on animal planet, you will learn a lot from that show.

what do you need to do, commands like sit? or toilet training. What breed is she aswell, I may be able to help you

Chances are you aren’t spending the amount time needed with her TO train her…it’s not that you CANNOT train her, since all dogs are trainable…you need to commit to training her. Sign up for an obedience class…you might be very surprised at how truly smart your dog is. At this age, she’s still just a puppy…she wants to please you, but needs your leadership in order to know what you want.
