My sister is fainting

My sister (16) has fainted 2wice this week and my parents are gone and she says that is nothing and says that it is just because of her period. I am a guy I am 18 and taking care of her this week. She says not to tell our parents for some reason. She runs for about 4 hours a day. 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. she doesn’t eat breakfast I don’t know about when she goes to school but she kinda eats dinner. Could she be lieing? Does this happen when you have your period? And she days she doesnt want to go to the doctor, is there any way that I can make her go without her parents, or should I just take what she said and that its her period?

Answer #1

It could be a mixture of things…

COULD be because of her period - lose of too much blood …also because shes not eating properly …could be both…maybe shes slightly anaemic.

might be pregnant??

speak to her about it..if she feels she can trust you im sure she will tell you whats up.

Answer #2

No!!! It is not because of your period!! If she hasnt been eating it is because she thinks she is fat/ someone else says she is fat and she is starving herself. Try to encourage her that she is perfect the way she is and who cares what you look like on the outside!! You could try to fix up her favorite foods for some nights and see if that helps!

Answer #3

its bc she is not eating properly. she may have a problem with eating and diet obsession… you should tell your parents

Answer #4

no this dosnt happen because of her period. shes exausting her body by not eating she could have anorexia or bulimia you need to tell your parents asap. and get her to drink something if she wont eat.

Answer #5

You need to tell someone. I haven’t heard of anyone fainting twice because of the period. She needs to eat more espeically if she’s going to run that much. Tell your parents and/or doctor she has to get that checked out before it gets worse.

Answer #6

no no no, don’t believe her, im a girl I know whats up, its not her period, maybe its because shes doing too much exercise and not eating well, yes tell your parents , because if something happens to her your going to feel the blame for not tellin.

Answer #7

dont tell your parents, but someone else like a doctor or aunt.
