my puppy swallowed something!!

this afternoon I found my puppy under the stairs, after looking for her everywhere, there is all sorts of junk under there, she came out coughing and splutering, she tried being sick but then swallowed it, she carried on trying to be sick, but stopped. I wasn;t in at the time, its just what my dad told me. she seems fine now, but will she be okay? can 12 week old border collies swallow batteries. I don’t think there was any batteries lying around, but I don;t know! I am reaaally worried!! help! shall I take her to the vets?

Take her to the vet. Just to chck if she swalowed anything that can hurt. But dont be to worried it may just pass. But still just in case.

Keep an eye on her, and if she shows any signs if illness, take her in.

Usually they can pass most things they swallow.

Watch her for the next couple days for lethargic behavior, and/or inability to poop…she may just pass whatever she swallowed…but there’s always a chance of a blockage…

I would consult a vet … you do not want wait on this … it might cost you some .. but it is best to keep an eye on her, and have a vet check her out. do not take any chances.
