my professor in college gave us an essay. He have to write a 2000 word essay about politics. but here's the problem, I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT POLiITICS.
it can be about politics in any country. I need you guys to help me out.
I need a topic 3-6 supporting details (more would be helpful) and maybe a website I can read about the topic
You could do something on the effects of the industrial revolution and how it created a different political thought process and how capitalism reshaped society.
The socialist movement was forming during this time also. In the mid-19th century, Marxism was developing, and that combined with the socialist movement was gaining popular support, mostly from the urban working class. Then socialism and trade unions became part of the political landscape.
The Russian Revolution then brought communism - and the political theories of Lenin into play.

The lesson to be learnt here is that your high school teacher... [unless you are truly a 16 yr old college student who can't answer a social studies 1 question] probably thinks that you will get more out of it if you do your own research. This doesn't strike me as an essay for your English class. The research is the point.

First, all you have to do is pick a country and then type in (country) politics and like a million hits will pop up. I am in 7th grade and a 2000 word essay is not a lot.
