Answer #1

Just ignore them. When you get to 18 what they think won’t matter. It’s your life just do what you love.

Answer #2

It’s messed up but unfortunately they just don’t get it, and they probably never will. So in the future work on pleasing yourself. Don’t end up being forty years old like me before you figure out that they really don’t care about you. Seriously, I just figured this out at forty.

CONGRATS ON COMING IN SECOND YOU’RE AWESOME…

Answer #3

Yeah it’s the same with me.

It’s always got to be number 1 or it’s not good enough for them. But after a while I just gave up and told them that I wasn’t perfect and never would I be. If they can’t understand after that, then I see no point in arguing.

Answer #4

Just do what you have to. I have the same problem.. they push and push and I let them im alwase the head of my class and its not good enough for them. I just do what I have I stay head of class leave the house as often as possible NEVER give them a reson to be mad. there is no real way to deal with it.

Answer #5

the next time they piss you off just say how you feel or tell them that they need to excpet you how you are and be happy about it and if they ignore try to get there attention you don have to feel bad cuase your parents dont like how you are or what you look like just be your slef and if they cant excpet that then thats there fualt

Answer #6

I’m sorry its that way for you. Maybe you need to talk to a school councelor. Do you in school have conferences? Maybe a teacher/coach or someone can try to help in explaining to your parents how well you are doing. Doesnt have to wait till conference time either. Try talking to them again and really express how it hurts you and puts you down.

Answer #7

“I know you want me to be my best but please don’t push so hard”.
