My parents.

Long story short…ok so my mom and dad divorced awhile back when I was young. We would visit him every weekend. After a while it got to be every other weekend. Then as me and my sister who is 11 months older than me (she’s gunna be 15) got older and started playing sports. Well, we knew he went to the bar all the time. One night in our room me and my sister called my dad on zero to see if he was at the bar (like usual)..it was loud in the background and I could tell he was drunk. My sister then text him about 10 minutes later saying hey whats up and he wrote back saying he’s going to bed talk to you later. This isnt the only time this has happened. We went to tell my mom and she called him, argued, did her thing. Me and my sister were really mad and now he wont text us, never comes to any of our vball/basketball games, never talks to us, and we’re never going there anymore to visit…its depressing knowing you pretty much dont have a dad who cares about you..what can I do?

Well.. You’re dad has moved on obviously.. I mean he wants to go out with his friends. he probably lied to you beacuse he knew you wouldnt understand or he didnt want to hurt you guys… hes upset at himself and you for doing something behind his back like that.. but he is your dad and im sure he will come around and realize that your his kids and he misses you… im here if you want to talk. =] -Samantha

Maybe go to see him and tell him how you feel. dont just keep it in side

You need to confront him in person and tell him how you feel.
