How can I get my parents to let me date?

Hey my parents wont let me date boyzz and I really want to so what do you think that I should do?

Answer #1

Okay well, you should wait until you’re maybe 14 or 15 to date. And I agree with ‘’exu1r’’. Young girls do have sex with guys a lot older than them. And the guys do it because they know that they can take advantage of you. Your parents are just trying to protect you. My mom wouldn’t let me date at that age either. And now I would probably thank her for that.

Answer #2

ur gonna hate me for this, but there’s a reason ur parents are like that.. i dont mean to be critical, but alot of young girls out there are having sex with boys 6 years older than them. boys who just take advantage of young girls. ur parents are just trying to protect u from the same fate as them. many of these girls end up pregnant either by consensual sex or forced sex. wait till ur a bit older and more mature. then find a good guy who wont just see u as a sex machine.

when ur more mature u’ll end up in a more permanent relationship. many relationships under 15 dont last and girls end up heart broken and devastated in the end.

Answer #3

Your only 13. You should be concentrating more on your friends, and school, not boys!

Your parents are only looking out for your best interest. Your still a child. Enjoy your youth, and respect your parents rules. They are the adults, and they know whats best for you, even though you may not realize that. You dont need to be dating at 13. You only want to do what all your friends are doing. At least you have parents involved in your life, helping you make good choices, unlike your friends’ parents! Someday you will thank, and appreciate them!
