My monroe is infected..

OKay so my monroe is really swollen and I took the ball off and now my bar is too short and the swelling is making it so the outside is closing up. Should I take the bar out and let it heal or should I just clean it good and see what happens?

it depends on how long youve had it for if its less than 3 months then its still healing if it was recetly peirced (around 3 days) then its still swollen and thats normal every piercing/wound gets swollen, and that lasts for around 3 days you shouldnt change the bar untill youve had it in there for 3 months if youve had it in for 3 months, or the bar really is too small then youll need to change it if you dont have a bigger one go back to the peircer and they will change it for you usually free of charge if it was too small in the first place with the ball in, you can pull the bar away from your mouth and see how much of it sticks out if theres around 1cm of space between your skin and the base of the ball then its not too small
