My kittens mouth smells

Precious is my 17 week old kitten, she’s not really acting sick , but has a stinky oder coming from her mouth. My dog did knock over the garbage when I was out and there was some old cucumbers that she might have gotten into, but im not 100% sure. Her nose is also running, she is playing eating and drinking fine. I just noticed it 2 days ago now. She looks sad when she wakes up untill I wipe her drool off her lips. Any advice???

at that age she may have a upper Resptiory infection, that needs to be treated with antibioctis. And she may have a ulcer in her mouth, Can you open her mouth and look inside, see if you see a sore.

Answer #2

It sounds like a bad tooth. Gte her to the vet and they should be able to check and see what is causing the smell. Sometimes cats and dogs can get what is similar to a cavity, and it can cause them to have really bad breath. They can also get sticks, food, string, etc. caught in between their teeth and/or gums which makes the teeth and gumline decay. The smell will not go away on its own, so it would be best to take it to the vet. Sam
