My ipod is stuck on the ipcture saying "connected eject..." ..

I tried reseting it it dident work and the screens dark I always safly eject and I cant do anyhting with it I cant turn it off lost my wall charger so I cant try that HELP!!I

hold in the play button and the middle button for 10 secs until the apple comes on the screen, it worked for me :) xx
