I have a similar situation…my advice start braiding your hair. When I was young my parents sent me to live Afica for some years, while there my family took care of me and my hair, and needless to say my hair grew long and beautiful, when I came back to Canada my mom decided to perm my she failed in maintaining it after that an my hair became very weak I suffered major breakage and it got a lot shorter. However I started just braiding me hair all the time treating it once and a while and my hair has now grown past my shoulders within a year. Just talk to a hairstylis and ask them what they thing is right for you, but single braids work great for me, even when I neglect my hair for a while and it starts breaking again once I braid it it grows back healty again. hope this helps.

Even though I am not pregnant at the time, I take prenatal vitamins. Those make your hair healthy and it also helps growth. I’m not sure about the south african though, not to be rude, please don’t take me wrong. White girls just have a different texture of hair. I’m sure if you start to take these vitamins something will grow! It’s not an over night thing but it’s sure to help at least, over time.

Answer #6

Wow. srry bout that. I say wait a bit and if it’s still the same go to a salon and ask someone if not your local doctor.

Answer #7

The same thing happened to me but only mines got cut in the back from an irresponsible beautician! But all I did was washed it every week with medicated shampoo(sulfer 8, glover’s mane, T-Tree, Pantene Pro V-4women of color, or Dr. Miracle) and kept it braided or gelled into a weave pony tail(lol). I ONLY GOT A PERM when it was just uncombable! Then my my hair started growing all over & this really works!

P.S. If the shampoo make your hair tough you can use conditioner or MAYONNAISE OR AN EGG!!!(This makes it very soft)
