my eyeliner doesn't work

I just bought a new brown eyeliner pencil, NYC. It was pretty cheap, but when I try to apply it, it doesn’t even come out dark. It’s SO light, you can’t even see it. black is WAY to dark for me.

Any tips ?

pencil never worked for me. I usually go with liquid. powder is too messy; liquid goes on really smooth.

next time get DARK BROWN eyeliner that is not too cheap, maybe like 5 dollars or more…and try to find a difrent brand:)

Try a different brand - I find NYC eyeliner not to be very good at all.

the softer the eyeliner pencil, the more likely it is to come out darker I think.

I have a brown soft eyeliner pencil by Barry M. I think it works great :)

Infact, barry M is just a great brand overall.
