I agree with phrannie, we also have a german shephard and he makes a lot of noise. You’ll need to give him extra attention and a lot of walks and playing.

You’ve got a German Shepherd…ALL German Shepherds “anxiety whine” to some degree…some a lot…some not so much…depending on the drive of the particular line. German Sheps are very verbal, however. People who love the breed hardly notice…OR, they spend time and effort in making sure their dog is physically and mentally stimulated enough that the dog is tired.

You’ve got a lovely dog…please take care of him in all ways…German Sheps are VERY VERY smart, and need a lot of stimulation…play games, walk him, throw tennis balls…get some of that stink out of him…”A tired dog is a good dog”…

please, find an intelligent, loving home for your dog. I am still shocked by the fact that your dog received a deep cut and you didn’t take him to the vet, instead opting to ask strangers on a website.
