I HAVED WORKED AS A DAY CARE TEACHER FOR TWELVE YEARS NOW AND ALSO WORKING ON A BACHELOR’S IN EARLY CHILDHOOD. KIDS HAVE MANY KINDS OF SOCIAL DEVELOPMENTS AND THE KIND YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT TAKES A LONG TIME TO DEVELOP. THEY CAN’T UNDERSTAND THAT MOM WILL BE BACK TO PICK THEM UP AFTER WORK. THEY THINK THAT YOU HAVE BANDONED THEM. TRY SPENDING SOME TIME AT THE DAYCARE IN THE MORNING BEFORE LEAVING. MAKE YOUR CHILD KNOW THAT SHE IS LOVED AND THAT SHE IS IN GOOD HANDS WITH HER TEACHER. HAVE HER BRING A SOOTHING TOY, SOMETHING THAT SHE FEELS GOOD ABOUT LIKE A STUFFED ANIMAL OR A BLANKIE. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST ALWAYS ASY GOODBYE. THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR THEM TO REASSURE HER THAT YOU WILL BE BACK AND FOR COMFORT.

Answer #5

You probably stayed home with your daughter all time since she was a little baby ; that’s why she cries a lot when she is at the DayCare. From now on, you need to bring her to your sisters’ or brothers’ or grandmother on the weekend also. Put her with other kids or with her cousins on the weekend so she can play and learn from other kids. Do not make her feel like you are the only one she can play with.

Answer #6

I work for a lady that owns a day care and there are a lot of kids at her daycare that cry and cry about having to stay while their mommy goes, but shortly afterwards they calm down and play. In your daughters case it sounds like she is having a really bad problem with the daycare she is at. Have you tried sticking around for a little while to help get her interested in the other children? Also you could maybe look into another daycare or someone else to watch her? Maybe a grandparent or someone your daughter trusts already and they would be willing to help you out? I hope all the best for you!

Answer #7
