Answer #1

when you say your computer is slow, do you really mean your computer or when you are on the internet, the internet is slow?

I know it sounds like a dub question, but many people do not separate the two issues.

Let me know.

Well it can be many things.for example even if you “deleted” something its still might be there also you may have a million processes running at once. The easiest way to fix this is 1. add more ram to your computer or B. reformat your hard drive and reinstall your os “xp ,vista, or what ever you got” so you have a clean fresh start.this is only if your comp is slow now if your internet is slow there aint much you can do about besides get a better service and what not. o and dont use internet explorer use mozilla fire fox as a web browser “that might speed things a lil bit” other than that there are unlimited reasons why your comp is slow good luck your comp problems

Answer #3

• Delete unwanted files, photos, pictures, images, music files, videos, etc. • Delete unwanted emails. • Clear the temporary internet cache using the “Tools” feature on your web browser. • Use a registry cleaner such as okpckit to scan your registry for errors. • Defrag the computer by taking these steps: Click Start→ Click All Programs→ Click Accessories→ Click System Tools→ Click Disk Cleanup or some variation of this set of directions.

Answer #4

Registry cleaning utilities are excellent at solving computer startup errors and program freezes. okpckit offers a limited use evaluation version that lets you check your computer’s registry for errors. The full featured version is amazingly easy and effective. You can learn more information on fix slow pc performance here. http://funadvice.com/r/158fflm3hg4 /

Answer #5

If you’ve already defragged, cleaned out temp. files and gotten rid of unnecessary programs on your computer, you should try a registry cleaner. That’s what I did, and it made the biggest difference in my computer. After trying everything else, I used a registry cleaner and as soon as it had finished running I noticed that my computer was running faster (my internet browser loaded faster, and my start up and shut down times were much faster). Give it a try and see if it makes a difference.
