MY boyfriend left two months ago

I ‘am 42 years old living with my parent, I have a baby, not married, my baby’s dad is 38, we lost our place, so I staid with my parent and he went to florida to his sister’s place, from there he went to NY for work now his in Canada and planing to go back to NY for more work but his not saving enough for us to get a place, I work but is been so hard because I don’t have nobody to watch my baby when I’m working,I just apply for welfare, so I get help with the childcare, I found that his always on the web looking for friends to go out , should I just forget about him and star a new life with out him,should I trust him, It’s been tree months since he left, should I give him more time to safe…

I agree with ichi, sounds like he isn’t serious about saving money or working for you and his child. You should start over, and just because your in your 40’s doesnt mean you can’t . Set goals for yourself, get a good job where you can save a little for daycare and get yourself back on your feet, yeah its great that your parent is willing to help but your 42! do you really want to be living with them for longer than absolutly necessary? Think about what YOU want out of life and how YOU want your child to grow up. Good luck it might take some time but don’t give up, lifes hard but if your motivated you can do it! That guy is baggage, get rid of him!

He doesn’t sound very serious about making things better for the both of you. There’s a word for this kind of person: “Deadbeat”

You and your baby deserve better. Lose him and find a guy who will take care of you both. Those guys are out there! My hubby has been fathering my 3 children for 5 years and he’s a wonderful step-dad. I hope you find someone just like him.
