my bestfriends feelings over mine

ok… My bestfriend has like me since we were little.But I never liked him back. Last year I founded out how he really felt about me because he told me he loved me. He always asked me to go wit me and I always said no but dis time I said yes so he culd shut up. But I dont know how to break up wit him because we are so close. We’ve been going togetha for a month now and I smile round him but dont really mean it. Im breakin up with him because I realized I dont really want to dothis because if he finds out about how I really feel then it would ruin our friendship and I really need to focus more on my school work rather than boys. So what should I do?
