Should I bring my baby to the doctor?
Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I have a four month old baby. Three days ago he has been throwing up almost everything I have been feeding him, milk and baby food, he also has a fever and is very red. I have been giving him two crushed up aspirin in his milk every 3-4 hours, it only seems to make it worse.
Should I bring him to a doctor?
Okay, the aspirin is VERY bad, always call a pediatrician before giving your baby any meds…but especially use BABY medicine…they make it for a reason. Nobody mentioned here that a baby SHOULD NOT drink milk either..or baby food, a baby eats formula…and MAYBE baby cereal depending on when your doc tells you to start giving them it. Don’t give your baby asprin…thats bad…and dont give him milk either…or baby food, just baby cereal…in the formula IF your doctor says it’s okay…and more importantly GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM ASAP
are you kidding me, you are on the computer asking this question when your baby is vomiting and has a hight temp? What the hell do you think you should do? Ofcoures go to the doctor. Or the emergancy the way it sounds.
Yes don’t give him aspirin. For reasons I can’t go all into, it can be very bad for young children. If he is running a fever try to cool him with a fan and or damp cloth or ice if necessary to get below 102 F. If he is allergic to food. feed him human milk or goat milk. He may have a virus of some sort and he should get health care of some sort very soon. Don’t want to scare you but I think this is urgent. God bless you two. Joe
NEVER EVER EVER give a child under the age of 12 aspirin. You can give babies certain paracetamol syrups, but in any case, if you’re baby is that sick you need to get the the emergency room ASAP. As in NOW!!!
