Here there are 4 acoustic guitars, 3 harmonicas, a mountain dulcimer and a mandolin -- ("Kentucky" brand, made in China)
Yup I play the piano, I used to take lessons, got up to level 6/8 here but then I decided to stop because I preferred playing my own songs and quite frankly hated the lessons. :) Everyone was telling me an acoustic was better haha, but me being stubborn, went with the electric though I do regret the choice. I did try learning on my own but haven't had much success.
Well it just takes time, I'm self taught and a songwriter too. Trade the electric in for an acoustic maybe? Once you learn your chords and get callusses built up on your fingers so they don't hurt anymore, then the rythm which is really the hard part. After working on it, getting discouraged ect, one day it all just comes together and your hard work pays off.
