I'm just curious.
Music is art and you are free to listen to anything that you like. I listen to mostly rock but lately I have been listening to Ke$ha a lot, also A7X, black metal, Salsa, Reagueton, Bullet...I mean, I will get bored just listening to a particular type of music because is not what somebody my age should listen to. I don't listen to much rap, but I do like Jay-Z and the Beasty boys. Something unique about listening to new songs when you are older, is that you understand some things in the songs that younger people may miss. On Ke$ha's song cannibal, she mentions serial killer "Jeffrey Dahmer" and my 15 year old didn't know who he was. On her song Tik Tok she mentions Mick Jagger and she asked me the other day "Who is this Mick Jagger guy?" I told her it was some very old rocker and my daughter was like, "why does Ke$ha want's to party with a 68 year old???" I do get why she would want to party with him, since I know who the guy is, but not younger people unless they listen to the Rolling Stones.
Well, I guess I'm an adult. At least in age, and I listen to black metal, death metal and very much extreme stuff. I also listen to bands/artists like Foo Fighters, Eminem, Beastie Boys, Madonna, Lady Gaga (!) and classical music. I really do not care if the music is old or new, as long as it has quality to it. I have had a love-relationship with music since I was a little kid. I grew up at a jazz-club, from when I was 4 years old. My parents took me there several times a week, when they went to concerts :)
I love everything...from to oldies/classics to 70's-90's to pop to alternative to hip hop to even electro...blues especially r&b...latin music even Mideastern/Greek music...if it sounds good & will make me move or has some meaning to it that can touch me a certain way...I will love it! :P
Okay, I'm 29. I like classical music, I like Metal, I like 70s and 80s music. I like Queen and I like REM.. some German bands that you probably never heard about... And I sing in a Choir that sings traditional Scottish Gaelic music...
Adults have varying taste in music. I am an adult (er, legally) and I listen to a lot of indie rock/pop, folk, alternative, ska, riot grrrl, etc. I suppose adults might listen to older music but not all of the time. I really don't know.
What do you mean by adults. My parents (in their 60s) listen to Barry Manilow and Neil Diamond. My grandmother who is 91 listens to Kid Rock, Metallica and Rammstein and some Russian group called DDT. Go figure.
Some adults listen to music from the 80's and when the teenagers listen to there music the adults just change it all the time to an 80's song its just like doing that on tv sometimes
some of what exactly? singers, groups from what times? need to be more specific...I have like about 10GB of music...:P
country. all kinds except rap lol and heavy metal. unless they are a rare few.. But really all kinds i guess
Ummm well like some artists.. Carrie Underwood... Tim McGraw... George Straight.. Reba MacIntire.
Depends on the adult, just like teenagers it depends on their personality and what they prefer.
My parents listen to music from their time, which is old, weird, Chinese pop.
hehe oobergoober... i like it.. its funny.. sorry had to comment
