Moving out of State

I am getting married in Aug to a man in the army. I have court on Monday with my sons father so I can move out of state. I am just wondering if the court deals with this situation different since my fiance is in the army.

If you were married they would allow you to move. In most cases I have heard you have to be granted full custody and be married already. I am also married to an army man. My ex can not do anything about where I choose to live bc I have full custody. Chances are if he is battling you for custody he will win holidays and summers with your child. Child support may be affected also. It all depends on your state laws. You may want to get a lawyer after your married if you have problems wiyh custody still. The army offers what they call jag officers to help you with court cases. Goodluck and I hope it all turns out good for you!
