How do I go about moving out?

How do I go about moving out? I told my mom this morning that I dont want to live at my house anymore because of my brother.He’s always in my room taking my stuff.I had to buy a locking doorknob.He’s constantly lying.He called me at work this morning to tell me my screen fell out of my window.I came home and the chair has mulch on it,there’s footprints to my window in the grass and my where I had sewn my screen shut it’s ripped open.My dad saw him come out of my room.Any way I cant take it anymore My grandparents would gladly take me.the only problem is is they live in georgia and I dont want to go that far,So should I move out,or just deal with it

BTW what is in your that he likes so much? Remove it or switch rooms with him. Just a thought.

Tell your mom and dad to put their foot down on your brother. He needs to understand or do move out. Its time. Then keep him away and dont let him know where you live until he grows up.

If there is a family member you can live with then go for it, but I don’t suggest going to live on your own because that’s a lot to take care of at your age with the bills and all that stuff. Or maybe even if you have a good friend you can live with or something, heck, I would if I was being stolen from and nobody was doing anything about it.

You’re 18, its time to start making your own decisions my dear. :)
