Moving out

How old do you have to be legally to move out

Answer #1

Yes you can move out in America at 18, but good luck getting an apartment! MOST places (and I mean 99% of them) won’t lease to anybody under the age of 21, just so you know. And if they will lease to you, you have to have your parents or another older than 21 adult with good credit cosign for you.

Answer #2

like she said in america its 18…you have to be considered an adult in the eyes of the law in order to move out.

Answer #3

That depends on where you are.

USA - 18 Canada - 16 UK - 16 (I think?)

Answer #4
