Why all the movies about exorcism or about a girl who is getting possessed?
Since the exorcist, all the movies about this are about a girl who is getting possesed, why they dont put a boy instead, or is more difficult that a boy get possesed than a girl.What do you think? Tell me please thank you.
That’s how the script was written. The script could be re written but no clue why they can’t re write the whole script.
I think it has more to do with the image that females are weaker, and on top of that, the physical appeal of a woman.
There are some movies with men being possessed like in the movie The Rite.
It’s much more scary I think when it’s a female because even a woman who’s just angry is scary enough, then add possession to it and it’s a nightmare. Plus I aggree with the idea in the previous anser about them being more appealing.
Everyone will want to see a movie of a sweaty hot girl rolling around on the floor screaming, but who wants to watch a guy do that?? lol
