Should I move to WA or OR?
I live in South Texas, beaten’ by the bible belt, and am sick of it. Looking to move towards the North West. Places I’m looking are WA (Tacoma, Bothell, Shoreline) and OR (Salem, Eugene, Portland, Astoria). I’ve got two years to plan but would really love as much advice/input from residence as possible.
Portland oregon =) Shoreline is nice also though but i’m partial to portland.
Honestly your best bet is probably living in portland and working in washington. You dont have sales tax in oregon but have less taxes taken from your check in washington.
What kind of commute would that be? (Keep in mind I live in a state where it can take an 8 hour drive to leave it…)

Portland to washington is extremely close =) I’m in Washington and within walking distance or portland =)
