mosquitoes and religion

Why didn’t Noah swat those two mosquitoes?

Answer #1

Agreed with Jester - because it never happened and is nothing more than a story.

Answer #2

I don’t really understand what all of you are talking about… I am Hindu by religion and have no idea about Naoh and the mosquitoes… What is it???

Answer #3

This is my opinion of wikipedia:

“There are 5 toes on the human foot [citation needed]”

Answer #4

A better question is why would god create mosquitoes, parasites, poisonous creatures, viruses, bacteria, etc. thousands of species, why? The conclusion I come to is that they evolved and god didn’t create anything because he doesn’t exist. And Noah’s Ark obviously didn’t happen, atleast not as it’s described in the Bible.

Answer #5

dude anyone can edit wikipedia… ANYONE! a lot of it isn’t true. And noah didnt’ swat the mosquitos because they were hiding behind the elephant.

Answer #6

WTF?! Oh and just so you know, Wikapedia ISN’T all 100% true. I’ve seen mistakes there before. But most of the stuff there is true.

Answer #7

I think it’d be better to ask why he left the tsetse fly, or any of the many parasitic creatures that reproduce by laying their eggs in a living host, which is then eaten from the inside out - some of which prey on humans if they get the opportunity.

Answer #8

I figured you were probably kidding, I was just stating the facts. I never believe EVERYTHING I read either. And xocandiigirloxx were you calling ME lame? If so, shut it. I was stating the truth… and last time I checked, the truth wasn’t lame. If not, ignore that last part.

Answer #9

With over four million species of arthropods alone to take care of, it would be amazing if Noah even remembered that he had mosquitoes on board.

I always wondered if Noah was able to build some kind of chamber in the ark that had 100% relative humidity, since some species require that kind of environment to survive.

I also wondered how long it took for penguins to reach the Middle East, since they travel extremely slowly across land..not to mention how they stayed alive during the journey.

But, these are the kinds of questions they don’t really like you to ask in church.

Answer #10

because they too are God’s children!!

Answer #11

yerrr lame fer that.

Answer #12

I believe the original question was supposed to be a joke!!?? Struck a spark though… ;D

Answer #13

Wikiepdia is ok… but not the best. And xocandiigirloxx - who’s lame?

Answer #14

Ah, You can’t believe everything you read, unless it’s in Wikapedia.

Answer #15

HAHA thats funny I heard that before ahhh =D

Answer #16

WOW THAT’S HILARIOUS!!! ^_^

Answer #17

Man! xx_the, I was just joking about Wikipedia. No one is 100% right all the time. I do use them, though when I need to know what year someone was born or when they died or who wrote a song, but I never believe EVERYTHING I read.

I screwed up by not using lol at the end of my sentence.

Answer #18

Simple answer. The story of Noah’s ark didn’t happen the way the bible claims. It isn’t possible to have 2 of every kind of animal world wide but on a boat with the technology of the day. The story of Noah is resnated around the world because there are several places in the world that floods. For example; the Egyptian have their own version. Every year the nile floods. 1 year was particle bad so a wealthy man put all of his possessions on a barge and floated on the nile. There is no evidence of a world wide flood at a time where humans existed.
