More info about cancer treatment

I don’t understand.. how does cancer treatment can slow down the specific cancer cells without slowing down the untriggered, healthy ones?

Answer #1

it can’t.. unfortunately cancer treatments take down white cells (infection fighting cells)as well as take down cancer cells.. thats why its best to catch the cancer before it becomes too advanced.. the longer a cancer goes untreated, the harder it is to kill off all the cancer cells without taking out a lot of white cells.
