The Green Mile parallels the story of Jesus. Note that the accused is named John Coffey, initials JC. Coffey loves everyone, performs miracles, heals the sick, casts out demons, is wrongly convicted, has the opportunity to avoid his fate, is executed, and Paul (St. Paul) sees his spirit after his death.
That things aren't always what they seem, they thought just because the guy was with the children that he had to be the one who had done it, and it didn't help that he was black, that made him automatically guilty, which I think is wrong for them to have done that but back in those days it was acceptable
that movie makes me cry every time....It so sad...ii am watching it for the 15th time over course of its relase. I guess it also proves Justic aint fair no equal no matter what error
I think the lesson of the movie "The Green Mile" is that goodness sometimes come in the form of bizarre things. If that makes sense.
Me to, I love the movie and it makes me cry to, that poor man that wasn't tryin to anything but good
No good deed goes unpunished, that's another way to look at it to
