Since my mom didnt show a lot, like the balloon belly, during her pregnancy with me does tht mean i wont either?

Answer #1

My mother didn’t show at all when she was pregnant and people asked me constantly if I was having twins. You’re two individual people.

Answer #2

it depends on the genes you inherited. If it is a dominant trait (XX,YY) from both of your parents then yes, but if it is homologous(Xy, Xy) like if it was one dominant and one recessive then it is a 50% chance and if it is both recessive (xx, yy) for both of your parents, then yes.

Answer #3

i meant heterozygous when i put homologous.

Answer #4

It just matters on your body I’m guessing. My mom had a baby belly and so did all of my sisters. You could def tell they were going to have a baby. Me… not so much at all! My first pregnancy when I was nine months it looked like I was barely showing. Just looked like I gained a little weight. My doctor said that I carry my babies high so it didn’t protrude out. The next two pregnancies were expected to show more because your muscles tend to weaken and not hold the baby in as much. But they were wrong… I never got to have a baby belly. Just comments on how I needed to lose weight.
