It depends on a few factors. One how far along you were. Two, how long you bleed afterward. Some women still bleed for a week or so, just residual brown stuff, but it's the same thing. Three, your body has a unique ability to reset itself, and this timetable can vary within a few days. My doctor recomended I not try for about three months to give my body time to heal, but I know it can sometimes happen within two to three weeks because when you have a miscarriage, your body feels as though it's being triggered by a period.
