Who has been to a midnight movie opening and did you enjoy it?

yeah i have been to one before but i did not enjoy it cos it was very scary and i could not sleep after watching it.

I went to one a long time ago haha I didn’t really care for it, the movie was PACKED and I was tired. There was such a rush to get seats by the people you wanted to sit by and was just to hectic for my liking. Especially when I could wait a week and have the theater almost empty.

I never went and I don’t on going to one after hearing about your experience.

That is what I worry about. I am going to see Transformers 3 and trying to decide if opening night or later in the week.

I have been to one a couple times, one time for the “Dark Knight” “Freddy VS> Jason” and the other times were the “Twilight” movies. & it’s the best!!!!!! Esp if you go for a series!! When I went to see “Freddy VS Jason” Everybody was dressed up as who they wanted to win. People were wearing freddy’s long finger nails and that sweater he wears and other were wearing the jason mask and had plastic swords. When I went to the “Twilight” preimiere everybody had homemade shirts on of who they loved more… Edward or Jack. People only do this kinda stuff at the preimiere cause your a hardcore fan!!!! It’s a whole different world!!!

Plus you really can talk to anyone, poeple will just start talking to you, cause they know your a fan. But you do wanna get their early!

Not my sort of thing and definitely not worth all the hype it gets. I guess if you’re one for crowds and lots of people, then you would like it. But personally, I hate crowded places. The movie just wasn’t worth the mess and chaos.

Yeah, I saw the Dark Knight opening, which I thought was totally worth it. I mean, I don’t really mind the crowds or anything, it can be sort of exciting. :)

What movie was it?

I’ve been to several, but it’s good for me because I’m a night owl. Some movies, there’s really not much of a crowd at all. But others, like eclipse, the crowd was RIDICULOUS. I think they played in 5 theaters and every single seat was sold out by 7 pm that night. Last summer I saw vampires suck, and it was sort of a medium crowd. Basically, it just depends on the hype surrounding the movie. Transformers will probably be pretty crowded, considering how popular the last couple of movies have been. I’m planning on seeing HP deathly hallows part 2 at midnight, because I’m so excited that I can’t wait.
